Championing the Continuity of Biodiversity in Singapore: The Biodiversity Collective (TBC)
Protecting the continuity of our local biodiversity for our future generations
About The Biodiversity Collective
TBC stands for The Biodiversity Collective series. TBC plays on "To Be Continued" as we believe that biodiversity must be continued for generations, and that it's also not just something for experts/researchers to understand. But the learnings must continue for everyone because biodiversity is the bedrock of society!
☕The Biodiversity Kopitiam: Sip & Learn @ Ahimsa Sanctuary (8th May)
Kopitiam Edition: The Biodiversity Kopitiam allows attendees to Lim Kopi (Drink Coffee), and learn about various topics of biodiversity through 3 main segments.
The Biodiversity Kopitiam is hosted at a local cafe, to sip & learn about our local biodiversity, over small group coffee chats with a leading Biodiversity expert.
Topics can range from specific wildlife, research papers, nature experiences, advocacy and much more! Each TBC Kopitiam has its own unique theme.

We do a round-table kopitiam style where attendees can choose up to 2 tables to rotate around and hear a speaker share their Biodiversity Insights & Knowledge for 20 minutes at a time, and rotate to your next table.

SG60 special: Immersive Nature Walk @ Alexandra Woodlands | Guided walk by Singapore Youth Voices for Biodiversity
About the walk:
Led by our community partner, Singapore Youth Voices for Biodiversity, for an immersive outdoor experience that blends science, imagination, and movement — as we explore Alexandra Woodland, a rare gem of rewilded green space in central Singapore. Once a freshwater swamp, this area was transformed through human development and canal construction… only to slowly return to its wild form, revealing the resilience of urban nature.

The Lost Ark of Singapore at Alexandra Woodland
Located across the Rail Corridor from Alexandra Hospital, the site is approximately the size of 36 football fields is an important ecological link between the nature reserves in central Singapore and the Southern Ridges.
This session is designed to be reflective, informative, and collaborative — reminding us that biodiversity isn’t just out there in untouched forests. It’s right here, reclaiming space beside us.
